Caleb Mission Newsletter 💌 The Third Week of September
Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you.
It is already mid-September, and fall has arrived. Chestnuts are beginning to fall around Caleb Mission’s center for North Korean escapees, reminding us how quickly time passes. As we enter this season of harvest, I pray that we will finish this year well and see abundant fruit in our lives and ministries.
Last week, I traveled to the Philippines as the moderator of the Gyeonggi East Presbytery to prepare for our World Missions Conference in November, which includes a youth camp focused on equipping the next generation.
As we continue serving for the spread of the gospel and the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula, please continue praying with us for the next generation and for the gospel to reach people around the world.
Chuseok, often called Korean Thanksgiving, is also approaching. There is a great difference between being unable to visit your hometown because of circumstances and being unable to return home no matter how deeply you long to.
North Korean escapees did not leave because they hated their hometowns or their families. Many left hoping for a better future for themselves and those they love.
For those who continue to carry loneliness and heartache, we pray that Caleb Mission’s Community Center and church will be a place of comfort, belonging, and love. Please pray that they will not feel alone this Chuseok, but experience the joy of being one family in Christ.
Please also remember the North Korean escapees still in China and those receiving training in Southeast Asia. May they experience Christ’s love and comfort during this holiday season.
As we enter this season of harvest, we pray that God will also bless your families, ministries, and businesses with abundant fruit.

1. Heavenly Father, please rescue North Korean escapees in danger and bless Caleb Mission as we share the gospel and serve them with Christ’s love.
2. God, please comfort North Korean escapees who miss their families and hometowns, and help them find true joy and new life in Jesus.
3.God, please spread the gospel in North Korea and strengthen Caleb Mission and all our partners to serve Your Kingdom faithfully.
