Caleb Mission Newsletter 💌 The Fourth Week of October

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each and every one of you!
It has been a busy but blessed week! Along with my presbytery responsibilities, I visited Hanawon, where I met North Korean escapees recently rescued by Caleb Mission who are now preparing for their new lives in freedom.

Today, I am enjoying the Yesan Festival with North Korean escapees who have become part of our church community. As they admire the beautiful autumn chrysanthemums, I pray that they experience God's comfort, peace, and healing. May your families also be filled with His peace and blessings!
More North Korean Escapees on Their Way to Freedom
Very soon, another group of North Korean escapees will leave our ministry center in Southeast Asia for South Korea. Over the past three months, they have studied the Bible, encountered Jesus Christ, and received discipleship training.
Please pray that they remain strong in their faith, settle well in South Korea, and grow into future leaders who will bring the Gospel to North Korea.

New Partnership with GOODTV
On October 21, Caleb Mission signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GOODTV, a Christian television network in South Korea, to expand our shared mission to North Korea. The documentary Beyond Utopia is also scheduled to air on GOODTV.
Praise God for opening these doors! Please pray that this partnership will touch many hearts and create new opportunities to share the Gospel.
We also ask for your prayers for our upcoming ministry in New Zealand. May God guide every step and may Jesus Christ alone be glorified!
Growing Fruit at Our Community Center
Our North Korean refugee community in Cheonan continues to grow! This autumn, we harvested several large sacks of chestnuts, our sheep are doing well, and approximately 2,000 heads of napa cabbage are growing beautifully in our garden.
There is an old Korean saying: “The land never lies.” When seeds are faithfully planted and cared for, they eventually bear fruit. I believe the same is true of God's ministry.
As we continue to pray and intercede, I trust that God is faithfully working and will bring forth fruit in His perfect timing.
Dear brothers and sisters, please continue to pray for the approximately 25 million precious souls in North Korea who need freedom, hope, and the love of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your faithful prayers, love, and partnership. May God bless each one of you!
In Christ’s love,
Pastor Seungeun Kim
