How Your Donation Will Be Used
Rescue
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the North Korean regime has used the crisis to tighten security along the China–North Korea border. As a result, it has become nearly impossible to rescue people directly from inside North Korea.
Rescuing escapees hiding in China has also become significantly more dangerous and expensive. The cost to rescue just one person has increased nearly tenfold since the pandemic—now averaging $20,000 per individual.
An estimated 50,000 to 100,000 North Korean women who fled before the pandemic are still trapped in China—many sold into forced marriages or caught in sex trafficking.
Caleb Mission is focusing on rescuing these women and their children, sharing the hope of the gospel, and supporting their journey toward healing and freedom.
While the cost may seem overwhelming for one person to carry, together—with 7,000 supporters giving $12 a month and praying faithfully—we can rescue four North Korean escapees every month and lead them into a new life of freedom in Christ.
