Hallelujah. I pray that the God of peace will be with you all. As we enter the new year, I pray and bless you that everything you hope for will begin, be fulfilled, and prosper in the Lord.
I want to share some very joyful news. As the new year began, Caleb Mission was able to rescue three North Korean sisters, and they have now safely arrived in Southeast Asia.Ā
Each of them carries an incredibly painful story. Some lost their parents to starvation, and others lost siblings. Some sold themselves into China in order to save their families. Others came to China trying to help their families survive, only to find their own lives unbearably difficult, while their families in North Korea continued to starve, leading to the complete breakdown of their families. Even when nothing but tears remained, they expressed deep gratitude to Caleb Mission for rescuing them.
However, this gratitude does not belong to Caleb Mission. All glory belongs to God alone. Through your prayers, support, and love, lives have been saved, and the gospel has been proclaimed.
Brothers and sisters, beginning today, Caleb Mission and I have many commitments throughout January, including our denominationās spiritual conferences, presbytery New Year gatherings, and various events organized by partner ministries. In the midst of this busy season, I humbly ask for your prayers for my health as well, and that I may continue this ministry among North Korean refugees with strength, spiritual vitality, and endurance. I sincerely ask for your continued partnership in prayer.
Those currently in Southeast Asia are filled with joy as new teams arrive. It is deeply moving to see those who arrived earlier receive the gospel and then pass it on to those who come after them. Please pray that this work may continue. There are still many North Korean sisters in China living in truly horrific conditions. Even in the midst of your own difficulties, I ask that you would share your love with them through prayer.
After January, there will be many important developments at our Southeast Asia center. While I cannot share all the details at this time, I ask that you would pray for everything taking place there, that God alone would receive the glory, and that we would seek nothing but His grace through every step.
Please also pray for the North Korean escapeesā community center in Korea as we prepare for the spring, that we may be ready for the work that pleases God.Ā
Although January is very busy, if you email us regarding donation receipts, we will send them to you promptly. As this is something we do every year, please contact us via email.Ā
And once again, please continue to pray for our safe house in Southeast Asiaāthat the young people there may truly encounter Jesus Christ. Thank you.
In Christās love and service,
Pastor Seungeun Kim

1. Heavenly Father, we thank You as we place before You the North Korean refugees who were newly rescued in this new year. We pray that, at the Southeast Asia center, they would encounter Jesus Christ personally and come to know true spiritual freedom.
2. Lord, we ask that many who are suffering throughout the world would be healed in the name of Jesus Christ, and that You would work powerfully to bring freedom to the people of North Korea.
3. God, we pray Your blessing over the missionaries and their families who are teaching, protecting, and laboring for the gospel at the Southeast Asia center. We also ask that You would pour out Your grace upon the local partners who are faithfully serving alongside them for the sake of these refugees. In Jesusā name we pray, Amen.
