Hallelujah! I pray that the peace of God is with you. As summer begins, I want to thank you for your continued prayers for North Korean rescue and Gospel ministry.
June is a month of remembrance in Korea. We remember the Korean War and honor those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom we enjoy today. During my recent trip to the United States, I had the opportunity to pay my respects to veterans who served during the Korean War.
Though it was a small gesture, I wanted to express my gratitude to those who shed their blood and gave their lives for Korea and for freedom.
Freedom is never free. It comes through sacrifice, courage, and loss—not only from those who serve, but also from the families who bear the cost of that sacrifice. As Koreans, we remain deeply grateful to the veterans from the United States and many other nations who stood with Korea during the war, as well as to their families.
Just as freedom was not easily won, North Korean escapees endure tremendous suffering in their search for freedom. Many risk everything to escape through China, and even after reaching South Korea, they often face difficult challenges as they rebuild their lives.
By God's grace, Caleb Mission continues to rescue North Korean escapees and share the Gospel. One of my greatest joys is seeing those who have been rescued growing faithfully in their walk with Christ. Behind every rescue are faithful missionaries and ministry workers who labor, pray, and sacrifice. Please continue praying for them.
There are still many North Koreans waiting for rescue. Recently, I met a woman whose family lost twelve relatives to starvation during North Korea's famine. After thirty years, she miraculously discovered that her younger sister was still alive in China and desperately needed help reaching freedom. She came to us asking if we could help rescue her sister.
Stories like this remind us why this ministry matters. In the name of Jesus, we continue to pray, rescue, and share the Gospel. Our prayer is not only to see North Korean escapees find freedom, but also to see them become future leaders and witnesses for Christ.
Thank you for standing with Caleb Mission through your prayers and partnership. Please continue to pray for those waiting for rescue, for the spread of the Gospel throughout North Korea, and for the missionaries, staff, partners, and supporters who make this ministry possible.
May God bless you and keep you healthy during this summer season. Thank you.
In Christ's love and service,
Pastor Seungeun Kim

1. Heavenly Father, we pray for the North Korean escapees who are trapped in China. Please open the doors for their rescue and lead them safely into freedom.
2. Lord, we pray that the Gospel would spread throughout North Korea and that this land would be transformed from a place of oppression into a place filled with Your hope, blessing, and truth.
3. Lord, we pray for Caleb Mission's supporters, missionaries, staff, and ministry partners. Please bless their families, their work, and their ministries, and continue to use them as channels of Your grace and provision.
