Beyond Utopia screening and Q&A at Harvard University

Last April, Pastor Seungeun Kim of Caleb Mission attended the Beyond Utopia screening and Q&A session at Harvard University to raise awareness of the suffering of the North Korean people.

Inquisitive students from all around the world joined us for our event at Harvard! They raised insightful questions and demonstrated great compassion for the people of North Korea. It was so meaningful to hear everyone’s passionate and heartfelt contributions to the discussion.

A huge thank you to Jieun Baek for moderating! Jieun is an author and scholar with great empathy for those living in suffering. It was wonderful to hear her share her extensive knowledge of North Korea with everyone.

We shared laughter, anger, and tears as North Korean defector Soyeon Lee and Pastor Seungeun Kim told their stories. Many students approached Mrs. Lee and Pastor Kim after the Q&A to share their hearts.

We look forward to the positive impact these students will have as future leaders in our world!
