Caleb Mission Newsletter 💌 The Last Week of September

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you.
I hope you had a blessed Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving holiday. This year, we spent this special time with North Korean escapees. Though they have hometowns they can no longer return to, we were grateful that they could celebrate with brothers and sisters in Christ who share their faith, pain, and hope.
During our Chuseok worship service, we also connected by video with North Korean escapees at our Southeast Asia center. Recently rescued escapees stay there for about three months, learning about Jesus and receiving discipleship training before resettling in South Korea.
Together, we prayed for reconciliation and unity between North and South Korea. We also prayed for North Korean escapees who are still hiding in China and waiting for freedom.
Please pray that those at our Southeast Asia center will come to know Jesus personally, grow in faith, and experience healing and restoration in Him. Please also pray for the missionaries serving them.
North Korean escapees often carry deep wounds and trauma from what they experienced in North Korea, China, and during their escape. We pray that God will heal their hearts and raise them up as strong followers of Christ.
To all of you who faithfully pray for and support this ministry, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your prayers and generosity make moments like this possible.
Please continue to pray for North Korean escapees, for healing and freedom, and for the day when North and South Korea may be reconciled through the Gospel.
Thank you for standing with us.
In Christ’s love,
Pastor Seungeun Kim

Father God, just as You reconciled us to Yourself through Jesus Christ, please bring North and South Korea together in unity through the Gospel.
Lord, remember those who are still suffering, and may this holiday season bring them comfort and joy.
Father God, please bless the North Korean escapees who have been rescued, those receiving discipleship training at our Southeast Asia center, the missionaries serving them, and all of our ministry partners.
