Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you.

Through your prayers and love, the North Korean escapees were safely rescued and have now arrived at our center in Southeast Asia. Over the next three months, they will receive discipleship training and be prepared to live for God’s glory and become catalysts for future ministry to North Korea. We are deeply grateful.

I’m at our center for North Korean escapees in South Korea, spending time with our goats. You know how beneficial goats can be, right? The goats at our center are growing strong and healthy. We began raising them because many North Korean escapees arrive in very poor nutritional condition, and we wanted to provide better nourishment for them.

Years ago, the late Rev. Joon Gon Kim, founder of Korea Campus Crusade for Christ, led a campaign to send goats to North Korea. At that time, many CCC college students participated. Some fasted and donated the money they saved, while others—including students during my college years—worked manual labor jobs to raise funds to send goats to North Korea.

Rev. Kim had a deep and special heart for ministry to North Korea. The legacy he left behind continues today as the work of sharing the gospel with North Korea moves forward.

Just as God works through one person, I believe He will use each rescued North Korean sister and brother as a catalyst for future ministry to North Korea.

1. Heavenly Father, use Caleb Mission to rescue precious lives and raise North Korean escapees to prepare the way for the reunification of Korea through the gospel.

2. God, equip and raise up more North Korean escapees as faithful workers, and use them powerfully for ministry to North Korea.

3. God, pour out Your grace upon all those involved in the rescue ministry, our missionaries and their families, and everyone who serves at our centers. Bless our supporters, their families, and their businesses.
