The Second Week of May ๐Ÿ’Œ Caleb Mission Newsletter from Pastor Seungeun Kim

Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace be with you all. Thanks to your prayers, I am returning home after completing my trip to the United States. Your prayers meant a lot, and many were answered. God allowed many good things to happen, but most importantly, I met and had fellowship with wonderful people. Thanks to God.

While in the US, I received great news. Grace Lee, a supporter of the Caleb Mission, successfully climbed Mount Everest to pray for the unification of North and South Korea and to glorify God. She raised the Caleb Mission's flag at the summit, inspiring us to work harder for the kingdom of God.

In LA, my final stop in the United States, I was very grateful to be joined by U.S. senators, governors, mayors, vice mayor, and consuls-general of the consulate general. They presented me with certificates of special recognition. I am thankful that the positive aspects of Christianity are being acknowledged, and I aim to honor God by exerting a positive influence.

Korean War veterans joined us during my final journey to celebrate Patriots and Veterans Month. Their sacrifices protected our liberal democracy from communism. One veteran, aged 100, was among those present. Their warm welcome during my visit to the United States meant a lot to me. I hope to see them again next year and wish everyone good health. These individuals have secured our future and dedicated themselves to ensuring freedom for the next generations.

We, as Christians, should continue to support North Korean defectors, granting them freedom, spreading the gospel, and empowering them as leaders in the North Korean Mission.

Please join us in prayer and intercede for the safe rescue of North Korean defectors. Let's also pray for the raising up of missionaries and leaders for North Korean missions at defectorsโ€™ centers in Southeast Asia and Korea.

I am returning home and looking forward to spending time with you in Korea during this month of Patriots and Veterans Affairs. Thank you.
