Hallelujah. I pray that the God of peace would be with you.

A group of 25 pastors has now returned safely to Korea after spending a meaningful and grace-filled time in the United States. During their visit, they traveled to seminaries and churches, learning about the Puritan heritage and following the footsteps of past revivals. All of this was made possible through your prayers, and we are truly grateful.

Today, I am in Kentucky to lead the 33rd anniversary service at New Life Baptist Church. The women’s ministry here has faithfully partnered with us for many years in rescuing North Korean escapees and sharing the gospel. It has been a great blessing to worship with them in person, and I am deeply thankful for this ongoing partnership. Thank you again for your continued prayers and support.

Through your prayers, we continue to see North Korean escapees being rescued from difficult situations in China. The four women and two children who were recently rescued are now in our Southeast Asia center, where they are being cared for, receiving spiritual discipleship, and also enjoying much-needed physical rest.

What makes this rescue especially meaningful is their heartfelt gratitude. They are earnestly seeking the Lord and are deeply thankful for those who helped rescue them. They have been writing letters to express their gratitude, and their spirit of thanksgiving in all circumstances brings us great joy. We sincerely thank you for your sacrifices in helping save even one precious life.

As I mentioned last week, we are also raising support for a North Korean escapee who is currently battling cancer. We are beginning to see small offerings come together, and we pray that, through your generosity, this could bring hope and help provide the treatment she needs. We would greatly appreciate your continued prayers and support.

I will continue my time in the United States next week, visiting three churches in Virginia to worship and share the gospel. I am here with the mission of rescuing even one more North Korean escapee. Together with your prayers, we will continue to do our best to save lives and share the gospel.

Please also continue to pray for the North Korean women who are still waiting in China for rescue, that God would protect them and that through their lives, His name would be glorified. Thank you.

In Christ’s love and service,

Pastor Seungeun Kim

1. Heavenly Father, we ask that North and South Korea would be united through the gospel, and that You would bring grace and healing to the North Korean sister battling cancer.

2. God, lead us to the people You have prepared during our time in the United States, and deepen partnerships through New Life Church.

3. God, bless the ministry workers and missionaries serving in Southeast Asia, and keep them safe as they carry out Your work.
