Hallelujah. I pray that the God of peace would be with you. I have arrived in the United States with 25 pastors. These pastors are part of our presbytery, and we have been praying together for North Korean missions. We have come on this vision trip to the U.S. together.

As our first stop, we visited the site of the Azusa Street Revival, where we spent time in prayer and worship. As you may know, this revival had a significant global impact, and around that same time, a powerful revival also took place in Korea—the Pyongyang Revival.

This vision trip began with a shared desire—to pray for America, and to carry the spiritual legacy of the Pyongyang revival in our hearts as we return.

Meanwhile, four North Korean escapees who fled North Korea and have been suffering in China after being trafficked are now preparing to make their escape. Their departure may take place soon. We humbly ask for your prayers for their safety.

I came to the United States with a simple purpose: to help save even one more life and to share the gospel. Together with these 25 pastors, we are sharing this mission and inviting others to join in God’s work—reaching the local community and partnering in missions.

Please continue to pray for all of these efforts, and above all, for the safe escape of these four individuals. Thank you for your prayers.

In Christ’s love and service, Pastor Seungeun Kim

1. Heavenly Father, we pray that the four North Korean escapees departing from China would be protected and able to escape safely without any harm.

2. Lord, we pray that You would watch over and protect all the ministry workers involved in this mission.

3. Lord, we pray that You would keep the pastors safe throughout their time in the United States and guide them to meet the people they need to meet.
