Caleb Mission Newsletter 💌 The First Week of October

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace is with you. Through your intercession and prayers, I am currently raising awareness of the North Korean mission in the United States, and I came to Chicago.

Before coming to Chicago, I met many Christian fellows in North Carolina, including those Korean American churches such as Raleigh Korean Church and the Connect Church in Cary. We prayed together for the motherland and will support Caleb Mission in sharing the pain of the North Korean people. I believe that your prayers made this happen.

We met with Pastor J.D. Greear, the senior pastor of the Summit Church, which is dedicated to building the kingdom of God by establishing over 700 churches across the United States and worldwide. I was grateful to see American churches showing interest in North Korean missions and being committed to expanding the kingdom of God in North Korea. Praying together for North Koreans hiding in China touched my heart.

I also met with Executive Pastor John Erwin of Providence Church and the international mission director, Pastor Dave Owen. We discussed the extensive suffering of North Koreans who do not know Jesus.

I had a video interview with Pastor Andrew Hopper of Mercy Hill Church in Greensboro about Caleb Mission's North Korean ministry. We discussed raising awareness about the North Korean people in the US, the need for prayers, and the importance for US churches to restore gratitude for freedom to pray and worship. Our prayer was for God to revive US churches through Caleb Mission's message, and through that, God will raise supporters for the North Korean mission.

In addition, we joined a gala while preparing for a collaborative ministry in Korea with Prison Alliance, an organization that conducts prison ministry in the United States and internationally.

On this day, I had the privilege of meeting the granddaughter of Pastor Billy Graham, who had a significant impact on the revival in Korea. We shared the story of God's living history through the current state of South Korea, which was established through the dedication of American missionaries. We also discussed North Korea, where Pyongyang was once called the Jerusalem of the East. It was a meaningful time of prayer, and I look forward to seeing what God will accomplish through these encounters.

We are deeply grateful to the American brother who obeyed God and dedicated himself to helping us for precious time in NC.

Future visits are planned to the Chinese American church and churches in Virginia and Maryland. Please pray for us and pray that we can work together as partners so that more people can come to know God.

I want to ask for your prayers for a North Korean defector sister who is escaping with her young child through the treacherous jungle. She was forcibly sold and married against her will and now has a child. As a mother, she cannot abandon her child under any circumstances. Please pray with us so they can find safety and freedom and receive the gospel at the Southeast Asia Center. We ask that you continue to intercede until the following newsletter. Thank you for your support and prayers.

🙏🏻❤️Please pray with us for North Korea ❤️🙏🏻

1. Heavenly Father, we pray that Jesus Christ can save everyone in the North through the gospel.

2. God, please awaken the churches in the United States and help them unite so that they can intercede and pray together for North Korean missions.

3. Lord, please bless our sisters and their children as they escape the treacherous jungle, guiding them safely to the Southeast Asia Center to find freedom and the gospel in Jesus Christ.

4. God, please anoint our missionaries working in the field and help them safely complete their rescue missions.

In Jesus' Name, Amen
